For more than a decade the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Santa Train stopped in Hazard each year in early December. During its run Santa and his elves would jump off the train and head for town hall where they were awaited by a line of area youths who would talk with Santa, and enjoy treats from him and Mrs. Clause. Hazard's fire truck was parked nearby for additional display. |
