The Massacre Canyon Monument sits within Hitchcock county near the community of Trenton. Also nearby  is the beautiful Swanson Lake Reservoir. We could see plenty of boaters, jet skiers, and swimmers taking in the good life of Nebraska on a toasty June Sunday afternoon.
